Marietta Claire has a no nonsense layout with a V berth forward and a settee that converts to a massive 7' berth in the main cabin.  This sits across from a fully equipped galley with ample amounts of storage and everything you need to prepare the days catch.

She is tough but she is not without the creature comforts a vessel of this level should have.  For example, she will keep you warm with two heating systems.  The Webasto Hydronic Diesel furnace provides the warm comfort of radiating heat throughout the entire boat and is controlled by two thermostats.  The system even has a register in the standup head which is a luxury most boat owners would only dream of.  On those days when condensation starts to build in the cabin you can take the chill off and dry her out with the Wallas 2 Burner Cook top that can be used as a heater. This unique cook top is known for not only cooking and warming your cabin but exhausting moist air to the outside while forcing fresh air in.

Powered with (3) 250 HP Yamaha 4-Stroke powerhouses with stainless steel Solas props easily push this fishing machine along at a 30 knot cruise speed and up to nearly 50 knots when you need them to.   Her three 110 gallon balanced fuel tanks carry a total of 330 gallons giving you a range of over 300 nautical miles so those far out fishing areas are within reach. The engines are controlled by Kobelt electronic shift and throttle stations at both the helm and in the cockpit.

On Deck

The cockpit measures a massive 11’ x 11’ so you have room for you, your friends, and your gear without tripping over each other.  Other well thought out features like the in deck fish box, Cannon down riggers, and a foot switch operated pot puller are just some of the features that make this vessel a sportsman’s dream.

When it is time to head home after a long day of Halibut fishing you can depend on the reliability of her drum lift and appreciate the convenience of bringing your ground tackle in from the comfort of your warm Helm.

She comes with a 10’ Zodiac that can be secured out of the way on a sturdy cabin top rack.  A collapsible davit system with a powerful 12 Volt winch spooled with spectra line makes quick work of mounting this rugged little tender.   The 15 HP dingy outboard can be securely stored for those rough sea passages on the built in aft cockpit outboard mount.

Electrical and Electronics

Some boaters say the electrical systems can be the Achilles heel of vessel designed for this kind of extremes but not with Marietta Clair.  Designed by professionals and overbuilt she has electrical system not to be overlooked when inspecting her quality.

The navigational package incorporates top of the line Simrad and Horizon units with extra-large screens making it easier to read when powering through those rough seas.

As you would expect she comes with an entertainment package that includes a high quality Pioneer stereo supported by Alpine speakers both inside and on deck.  An out of the way ceiling mounted compact TV completes the package.

Additional Information

Extensive upgrades were made to this vessel by Heavy Weather Boats in Anchorage. These upgrades included venting of the fuel tank compartments installing blowers and extensive upgrading on much of the electrical wiring and components. (Full Wiring Schematics Included with the sale) She has spent most of her life stored in a heated shop.  Sale includes many extras and she comes with a 2009 #17,200 GVW Galvanized Steel Trailer.
