Propulsion
The HOW SWEDE IT IS is powered by twin VOLVO 8.1 GXi fresh-water cooled (FWC) gas engines that are rated at 420 HP at 4900 RPM's. At full-throttle, approximately 33 knots is the "top end". The best cruise is about 3500 RPM and that gives about 23 knots. The exhaust manifolds & exhaust risers for both engines were replaced in 2014. The fuel filters & lines were also completely serviced in 2018. - Engine hours: 550 (approximate)
