The interior of Seamoore is the perfect example of sophisticated workmanship, the interior just glows with custom craftsmanship. A roomy settee and dinette with comfortable cushions welcomes you to sit and relax. The wood table is adjustable to provide added comfort and adjusts for an extra sleeping berth.  The storage under the settee is expansive.  Starboard of the dinette is the interior helm. Navigate easily from the comfortable captains chair, which has an adjustable footrest, which swivels and locks to accommodate the use of the desk directly behind it. The desk has a lid that lifts thus accessing storage for your navigational tools and a roomy cabinet underneath for additional items. The digital stereo and 4 speakers provide entertainment. Step down two stairs to the gourmet galley. LED in ceiling lighting, 2 bronze portholes and under cabinet lighting flood the galley with light. The expansive granite countertops complement the main appliances, which include a 3-burner Princess stove/oven combination and a large Norcold fridge/freezer.  Enjoy a cup of hot coffee using the built in 8 cup coffee maker. Generous storage under the custom locking cabinets as well as cleverly placed shelving allow for all your kitchen tools to be stored neatly. Wash up at the deep two-basin stainless steel sink with the pull out sprayer and built in soap dispenser.
Seamoore has two berths, one double and one master stateroom. Both berths sport marine vented mattresses, LED in ceiling lighting, portholes with “socks” for dimming, extensive cedar lined storage lockers and under bunk storage and a single dresser. The master stateroom has lipped shelves around the perimeter and a stereo with two speakers, both are wired for TV/Phone.
The spacious head is complete with a roomy custom sit down shower with flexible adjustable height shower head. An 18-gallon hot water tank and a 185-gallon water tank with charcoal filter results in no need to worry about a shortage of water. A Lactra/San treatment system for the toilet insures freshness. A cleverly designed towel cubby keeps towels warm and dry. The Espar hydronic heating system not only warms the towels but also regulates the temperature through out the entire boat, rendering this vessel exceptionally warm and dry.

Powered by a 2000 79 horsepower 4 cylinder Yanmar, she has an unbelievably low 637 hours.   Freshwater cooled and turbo charged, it drives the 1 1/2 inch stainless steel shaft and 18” 3 bladed left handed prop.  The attention paid to the engine room and mechanical is flawless. Four 50-gallon fuel tanks and a new complement (2011) of 2 8D batteries and a group 27 with breaker panel work in tandem with the True Charge 20 amp battery charger. A single 30-amp shore power cord provides reliable power while docked. There is more than one redundant system, down time is kept at a minimum as a result.

Seamoore is outfitted with a Genoa, custom-made storm jib, and mainsail. All sails have been routinely inspected and repaired as needed. A Hood roller furling system and impeccably maintained windlasses’ make sailing a snap. The lines that run along the teak deck are pristine.  This vessel is unique in that she was custom crafted and sports an impressive 1 and 1/4 inch thick hull.   11 drums of resin went into the creation of this beauty, insuring sailing confidence, as she is stronger and safer than any mass-produced vessel of this kind. She has no perceptible heeling under sail, with little to no weather helm. Having received a 3 star rating from the United States Coast Guard, equipped with type 3 life jackets, flares and an EPRIB, there just isn’t a more seaworthy vessel to explore the coastal waters.

The interior helm is a sailors dream. Navigate easily with all the controls at your fingertips, while staying out of stormy weather. The adjustable captains seat sits before the helm station that has an impressive array of instruments nestled in a custom wood deck.   Outfitted with an Anritsu 30 mile radar, Trimble Navigator Plotter, Comnav 1440 autopilot with remote and 2 Standard and Sea Ranger VHF’ radios. A Garmin 210, Capilano hydraulic steering and Mathers electronic controls just adds to the effortlessness of piloting this vessel.  Safety systems include a full compliment of alarms, a halon fire extinguishing system in the engine room, a custom rigged bilge alarm wired to the electrical system, a high water alarm system and custom fault code reader. The Scott windless has controls on both the helm and on the bow, with covered foot switches. Additional electronics include a Datamarine link 5000 with speed, depth, apparent wind and a Danforth constellation compass.

Additional Information

A custom-built Bruce Roberts design, Seamoore sports the unique double-ended hull design.  At 40 feet with a 12-foot beam, she is stout and robust. Her handrails are heavy stainless with superbly crafted welds, as is her davit. The teak deck and bright work are faultless. At dock she is a stunning creation of superior craftsmanship, from her custom sail covers to her shining white hull. The current owner has checked her full keel yearly and personally attended to every finish. She has not one but two dinghy’s, one nestled in the custom davit, a 8 foot West Marine with a 2.5 stroke Yamaha, and a 2011 Achilles with aluminum flooring with a 2011 Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke that can be towed behind. An array of anchors and two different rode options insures safe anchoring in your preferred cove.  Extensively maintained records and manuals are superbly organized and available for review.
