Accommodations

From her build at the Atlantic Boat Company, to a Spencer Lincoln design, then finished at the highly acclaimed Malcom Pettigrew of Maine where boats and the sea are a way of life. Pettegrow boats have developed a reputation for being carefully built, strong, seaworthy craft that is beautiful to behold. “Final-Fling” has been adorned with tradition and innovation. The sturdy, Down-East style hull catches your eye as you first approach her. The varnished anchor plank and stainless windless offer a very serious feel to her purpose. Next, you will notice how the traditional lines flow through the deck and cabin house, and the classic style electronics mast. Moving aft, the gracious and spacious cockpit beckons you aboard. The oversized teak swim step and walk through transom makes boarding a pleasure. You will surely notice the size of the aft deck for lounging and entertaining, the custom cockpit settee, the interior table comes outside and works with the cockpit sette, hot and cold water shower, deck mounted canopy, and the ease with which you can open the cockpit hatches to access your toys. There is a whisker pole system for deploying a “flopper stopper” to ensure the vessel rides at comfortably at anchorage as it does underway. Moving into the cabin, the striking blend of the teak cabin sole and interior finish certainly enhances the traditional “True Yachtsman” feel of this boat. The view from the raised settee is an amazing 360 degrees. The salon features generous seating for guests and an abundance of storage possibilities for long passages. The refrigeration box is cavernous with the ability to accommodate weeks of meals and ice for cocktails. There is a sliding door to starboard and an opening windshield window, at the skipper station adding great ventilation to the cabin and easy access to the bow. The skipper is assisted by a competent array of navigational equipment and bow-thruster for tight quarters. The engine room under the cabin sole shows nothing other than “Pride of Ownership”, upon inspection you will definitely notice the professional electrical work. Forward of the main cabin is two shallow steps leading down to the galley, head and sleeping quarters. To starboard is a large head with hot/cold pressure water, and portlight above the sink to enhance ventilation and light. Note that a new head system has been added with no expense spared. Forward in the bow is a generous owner’s stateroom with ample storage and headroom. The stateroom is set off with warm teak accents and as snuggle in your double bunk, you really feel the distinguished qualities of this fine yacht.

Galley

This galley features a like new Force 10 Propane 3 burner Stove and Oven is polished and completely functional. The galley and salon have innovative storage capabilities and wonderful ventilation and views to the outside.

“THE YACHT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR.” Yes, you have found it, now all you have to do is make an appointment to view this fine yacht. For the West Coast buyer, the good news is you do not have to fly back East and truck the boat back. For the East Coast buyer I will pick you up at the airport. Either way the first person to see this fine yacht will make an offer.

These vessels are famous for their sea-keeping and maneuvering ability in strong winds and currents. Boat builders from Maine really know how to build some of the best yachts in the world.
