Brokers Comments
If tanks could sail, this is what it would look like. This super strong custom built aluminum catamaran started its life over in France built by the owner from plans he purchased in 1999. After finishing the boat in 2000, he and his wife sailed the boat all around the med and then sailed it here to the United States with 2 small children. Every winter after arriving they sailed the boat from Florida to the Bahamas and back for their winter vacation. Since starting a new business 5 years ago, they have let the boat sit not having any time to keep her in sail away condition and the rest is history. If you have any skills with aluminum and a well built affordable catamaran is what you are looking for, your search has ended. My Soun is now ready for a new chapter in its life and is in need of some cosmetic work. The decks, cabin top, hull sides and hull are thick aluminum ready to be repainted. The side windows are getting new frames installed and the cockpit seats are getting new wood slats. The twin Volvo 18HP diesels are in very good condition and well maintained. The engines have great access on all sides for easy oil changes and routine maintenance. If you can handle a small project and a strong aluminum sailing catamaran is the way you wish to cruise, call us to see this vessel for yourself.
