Engines

NEW ENGINE INSTALLED IN 2009 WITH 900 LOW HOURS - What is the point of having an advanced design system if you don't pair it with the most efficient and reliable gas engine available? This vessel sports a Volvo 8.1 GI 375 hp engine with 900 estimated hours on it. Hydraulic steering controls and a Morse cable control allows for superior handling at one of the two helms.  Enjoy a stable and smooth side utilizing the Bennett automatic trim tabs and Boat Leveler manual trim tabs. A Honda 9.9 kicker is great for trolling. Anchoring is simple using the electric Simpson anchor winch with a Danforth 12 pound anchor. Two brand-new interstate batteries were installed just this year. The single aluminum fuel tank carries 167 gallons. This will easily allow for exploring  almost endlessly.

Electronics

Quality electronics can be found at the main helm. A Garmin 740 GPS, plotter, Raytheon Pathfinder radar, a Furuno depth sounder, Ray pilot autopilot and a Horizon Intrepid VHF is critical for safe and accurate navigation

Additional Information

What makes a Skagit vessel unique over other vessels of this type is the complex and advanced manufacturing systems. As a direct result of years of proven reliability and robust seaworthiness the hull and cockpit are equally vigorous. The cockpit is perfect for sport fishing, wildlife viewing, hauling gear for an extended overnight stay or simply lounging. A Kodiak bait well, rod holders, a Penn manual down rigger and electric pot puller make it easy to enjoy various fishing options. There is additional room on top of the cabin, perfect for storing kayaks or extra gear. Interested in exploring parts  unknown?  Easily haul out using the Pacific triple Axle trailer and hit the road.

There are many reviews and forums extolling the benefits of owning a Skagit Orca vessel. With such low hours, additional fishing gear, safety equipment, comforts of home and affordable asking price, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy years of the boating lifestyle.  We encourage you to check the web for the expanded description of the advanced manufacturing process, it is too complex to simply list here.  Then when you are impressed, and you will be, call us today for your personal showing.
