Owner's Comments

Owners Rick Gassner and Sol Gully have over 45 years experience each in sailing, owning sail boats and engineering to professionally operate and maintain the boat. Rick was a licensed 6 passenger Captain. Together they hold six engineering degrees which enable them to professionally keep the boat maintained and operating properly such as the engine, electronics, hardware fittings, etc.

The teak deck and cabin platform had each piece custom fitted requiring the minimum of screws and those screws were coated in epoxy.  There have been no leaks resulting from teak deck installation. It cost $120,000. The teak trim on the port side inside railing of the cockpit came loose (10+years ago) due to the arc it had to fit on. It was solved by a thru hull bolt with washer to pull it tight. No leaks have resulted.

A hoist was added to pull and hold the outboard motor making the tender more stable on the davits under rough conditions.

Annually we change the oil and oil filter, the engine and prop zincs, the 2 fuel and water filters, and check the water pumps. Every year growth retardant was added to fuel and tank was topped off. Every year we put anti-freeze in both water tanks, toilet and engine. The engine water pump was changed twice – 2 years since the last one was changed.

The bottom is power washed, scraped, and painted with multi-year bottom paint. The prop and shaft is given multiple coats of prop armor.

The cabin wood has been cleaned and polished with lemon oil furniture cleaner. The cushions have been cleaned and the interior detailed.

Cruise equipped & beautifully maintained, "Patriot Games" is in the water and ready to cruise for 2019.

Her interior layout offers complete privacy in both forward and aft cabins with the ability to accommodate six with the table conversion to a berth. Sail handling from the safety of the cockpit keeps the mind at ease, especially when those afternoon sea breezes kick in. Her combination of creature comforts, modern layout and amenities, state of the art electronics and rigging are all features which make "Patriot Games" an excellent choice for today's cruising sailor.
