On coming aboard Intermezzo you immediately feel like you are aboard an ocean capable cruiser. the side decks are wide, the freeboard high to repel boarding waves and the rig large enough to power through swells. There is great visability from the cockpit to work the boar and keep track of the crew. Access below is through a ventilated companionway with access to the main salon and chart table. The salon has a large settee to port with seating for six and another curved settee to starboard with a coffee table. This creates two distinct lounging areas family and crew to stretch out. This is great for young people to have their own place to hang out without having to put everything away at meal time. The chart table is forward on the starboard side with good access to the cockpit. The chart table has plenty of capacity for more navigation and communications gear and an opening desk for instruments. It faces forward and has it's own secure seat.
The galley is to port in the tunnel to the aft cabin. The double sink is on center-line with a generous counter around it. There is a pass through to the starboard settee. the long counter outboard contains the very large fridge and freezer with top and front opening for the fridge. The stove is gimbaled at the forward end for ventilation through the companionway. There are also several opening ports.
Moving aft into the master cabin you'll find a generous hanging locker to port and seating on either side of the island queen. Opening hatches and ports make this an open and inviting space and the headroom is awesome. The master head with separate shower are forward on the starboard side. There are cabinets and storage everywhere.
Forward from the main salon there is a passageway with a single cabin on the port side with it's own door for privacy. This is a true guest cabin.
On the starboard side is another head with separate sit down shower.
Forward is the v berth with cutout to make it into two separate berths. A large hatch above allows ventilation and light, but also facilitates sail changes.
Teak floors and cabinets make the boat feel luxurious and warm throughout.
