Accommodation

Accommodation is for eight persons in three cabins.
The forward cabin has two single berths in the usual 'v' configuration. This berth can convert with an infill to a large double when required.
Forward head with marine sea toilet, shower, wash hand basin, pressurized hot and cold fresh water.
The saloon will sleep three persons with one single settee berth and one single settee berth to starboard. The starboard berth will convert to a double.
There is a single sea berth in the passag way leading to the owners after stateroom.
The owners after stateroom has a large double berth to port with seating to starboard.En-suite facilities, sea toilet, wash hand basin, pressurized hot and cold fresh water.  
The fully equiped galley is located at the after end and to port of the saloon. Fitted with two stainless steel sinks, pressurized hot and cold fresh water. Plastimo gas cooker with two rings, grill and oven. Top opening refrigerated cool box.
The navigation area is at the after end of the saloon and to starboard.

Sails and rigging

The vessel is sloop rigged and all masts and spars are alloy.
All standing rigging is stainless steel. (New 2005)

Comment

The Moody 37 'Galatea 2' is in good condition and has been based here at Largs for the last eight years.
The standing rigging was renewed in 2005 and the sails that have been only lightly used were new 2009.
The vessel is competitively priced and viewing is highly recommended.
