Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway, Bukh DV24 twin cylinder 24hp diesel engine, installed new in 2002.  Electric start.  Seawater cooled.  Shaft drive to three bladed propeller.  Single lever control.  20 gallon fuel capacity giving approximately 200 mile range at 5 knot cruising speed.  Maximum speed under power 6 knots.

Built in 1984 by Westerly Marine Construction to a design by Ed Dubois.  White GRP hull with style stripes.  Teak rubbing strakes.  Teak toe rails.  White GRP superstructure with grey painted non-slip to deck.  Twin keels.  Spade hung rudder.  Tiller steering.  Aft self draining cockpit.  Teak cockpit grating.  Coppercoat antifouling system (2015).  2014 survey.
