Accommodations

She will sleep a total of 6 adults; including the convertible dinette. The custom dining table folds against the bulkhead, to give more room in the main cabin (owners still have the original trestle style table available).Starboard pilot berth has been replaced with a custom storage cabinet. In total, she has 65 storage lockers and bins! Her companionway stairs are curved, to make passage up/down easier and safer while underway. The teak and holly sole is in excellent condition. All interior and exterior teak is varnished. All cushions have been recently recovered. The head/shower compartments are of good size. The U-shaped galley is safe in a seaway and at the base of the stairs. The navigation desk is opposite the galley.


Galley

Her galley is well designed for use offshore or at the dock.Her large refrigerator-freezer and deep storage compartments would hold supplies for an extended period. Her stainless sink is on centerline, and hot/cold pressure water is available throughout the boat.

 


Deck

Her anchor well is divided with a CQR and a Bruce anchor with chains and rode. Bow and stern pulpits and lifelines are all in excellent condition. Her dual anchor roller and stemhead fitting are custom made and very substantial. The Maxwell windlass makes anchoring easy.A deckwash outlet is also in the anchor well. All dorades have been replaced by solar, stainless vents, and coach roof handles are stainless steel. The transom lazarette opens to become a swim platform and ladder for easy access to a dinghy or a swim. She has high, teak capped bulwarks around the entire boat for added safe footing for her crew. The cockpit has teak coaming caps. Appropriate docklines and fenders are included.


Sails & Rigging

All sail controls lead back to the cockpit. She has jiffy reefing on the mainsail and Harken roller furling on the Genoa. Sails include a #2 working jib and 130% genoa and a North mainsail with cover. The 130% was new in 2005. There is a #3 Mylar genoa also.

Winches include two # 36 Lewmar self tailing primaries; one Anderson #40 , self tailing cabin top, and one Lewmar # 20 cabin top . She has a rigid  Garhauer boom vang, and a leather wrapped wheel..


Electronics

She has  Danforth compass, Furuno GPS/plotter, Icom M502 VHF, Raymarine depth meter, Northstar speed-distance log, and an Autohelm St4000 autopilot.


MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL

mechanical:

She has been repowered with a Vetus 40 HP , model M417A202A, closed cooled diesel.The boat is driven by a three blade Maxprop propeller. The engine is equipped with a sea strainer and a fuel/water seperator. There is a fuel shut off ,a holding tank and deck pump out fitting. She has an electric and hand operated bilge pumps.

electrical:

Equipment includes a battery charger, selector switch, 4 batteries and an inverter. She has 30 amp shore power.


Miscellaneous

The bottom is coated with  CSC. Mast is painted with white Awl-Grip. Current owner (3rd) owned since 2002. Manuals available. Steel storage cradle included.
