Owners Comments

Aluminium Hull, Deck and Superstructure
In 1982 she was built in Germany regardless of cost in top grade marine Aluminium to the equivalent to Lloyd's A1 standard.

There is a side entrance a sea lever to facilitate man overboard recovery but also makes an excellent feature for recovering crab or lobster pots.

Notes

This craft is a one of several operational lifeboats designed to be the "Daughter boat" of the much larger official German Customs Ocean going ships. (Zolkreuzers).
The boat is designed to be unsinkable and has 3 watertight bulkheads. Designed to be self-righting and the interior steering position has safety straps.
The engine is powerful enough to move it's mother ship.
