As you enter Uno’s main salon off the aft deck, the elegant warm teak parquet floor, cabinetry, walls and trim invites you to stay awhile. Trawlers are known for being exceptionally roomy and this one is no exception. A large cushy sofa along the port side wall provides comfortable seating for up to three mates. Next to it is a dinette with an adjustable table and cushioned seating that fits four easily. The starboard galley is well appointed with a three burner range and oven combination, a Norcold refrigerator and a microwave nestled among several large storage cabinets. The buff tile countertop is easy to keep clean and bright and a large stainless steel sink located in front of a large picture window makes doing dishes quite pleasant. Just in front of the galley is the interior helm with all the electronics you need for safe navigation. For those overnight trips, Uno comfortably sleeps six with the convertible dinette sleeping two, and two staterooms located in the below forward area. The owner’s cabin is to port with a double berth and a guest stateroom is located in the bow with a two-person v-berth. The convertible dinette also sleeps two. The single full size head with plenty of standing room and a sizable tub/shower combo is located across the hall from the owner’s stateroom. The Webasto forced air diesel furnace provides plenty of warmth so you and your passengers can enjoy comfortable boating in all types of weather.

On Deck

The highlight of this trawler model is the vastly oversized fly-bridge and covered side decks. Accessed by a ladder from the aft deck and atop the aft cabin, the fly-deck encompasses the entire main salon cabin top. The bridge area can be fully enclosed and has seating for six, including the upper helm captain’s chair, but there is plenty of room for additional folding chairs and the hand railing around the entire upper deck keeps your passengers safely on board. You can also use the large fly-bridge space to store an inflatable dinghy. Uno has a Nordic Light N27OLT dinghy stored there, along with a Yamaha four horsepower kicker for those times you need to zip around in something smaller. Also stored on the fly-bridge is a 3.8 kilowatt gasoline genset, a freezer, shrimp pots, crab pots and line – all you need is some bait and you are ready to pull in some seafood snacks! The beautiful teak trim found inside the cabin continues on Uno’s deck-side. Easy access to the main deck from the dock is by way of the stern swim deck to the transom door. The bridge overhangs and creates shelter on the side decks and cockpit from rain and sun. Covered side decks are extraordinarily rare in boats of this size and highly coveted. While many boats have covered or partially covered aft decks, the addition of covered side decks really extends the luxury of shelter to that many more passengers, especially during a day of fishing. Uno has also had a large portion of her teak forward deck removed, screw holes filled, and has had fiberglass decking put down and painted with a non-skid surface. This work ensures the staterooms and head stay leak-free for many, many years to come.

Trawlers are not known for their speed, but they are known for their fuel efficiency and Uno has plenty of range. Powered by the original 120 horsepower Ford Lehman 2715, Uno will move through the water at a cruising speed of eight knots. Two fuel tanks holding a total of 350 gallons and a 2.5 mile per gallon fuel usage will take her more than 700 miles before refueling. With a comfortable 1,960 run time hours, the engine has plenty of longevity left in it. A hatch in the salon sole provides easy access to the large engine room. When it’s time to anchor down for the evening, the Ideal windlass electric winch will smoothly lower your Bruce 33 pound claw style anchor and keep you set for the night.

Uno comes with the electronics you need for a smooth voyage. Her upper helm includes a VHF, as well as a Raytheon L265 fish finder. Her interior helm includes a Garmin GPS Map 930, Uniden VHF and JRC Radar. The salon also has plenty of entertainment electronics, including an AM/FM CD stereo and LCD flat screen TV.
