Accommodations The 42’ Nordic Tug has a great layout. You walk on from the swim step and into the large cockpit. From the cockpit you can go up a set of stairs to access the tender and crane or you can walk into the salon. The salon has a seating area and storage to port. To Starboard is an L shaped settee with a foldable high-low table. Forward of the salon is the U shaped galley to port and directly forward is the access to the second stateroom, second head/shower, washer/dryer and freezer. The VIP stateroom has bunks with a double on the bottom and a single on top. To starboard and forward is the entrance to the pilothouse. The pilothouse has great visibility with seating and a table. From the pilothouse you can go out the side decks to port or starboard via sliding doors. From the pilothouse forward you go down to the master stateroom. The master has a walk-around queen with lots of storage under the bed. There is a private master head with a separate stall shower. Both of the heads on the boat are Vacu Flush.
